WHAT ARE THE ADG GRANTS? ADG - Arts Development Grants for Travel - is a new British Council scheme offering a chance for Syrian artists (in all fields and all sectors) and cultural operators to travel on short 3 - 5 day visits to the UK – to see new work in their fields, to meet some new contacts, to consider new directions for their own practice, and to return home with new ideas. On return, the artist will record or write a short blog for the British Council; these will be published together at the end of the scheme. The scheme ends in March 2012.
